HOUSING
The Associations manage a combined total of approximately 12,000 housing units throughout Scotland for older people and frail older people in both urban and rural areas.
Each association operates independently and provides accommodation designed to meet the needs of older people. All properties offer basic features of full central heating, high standards of safety and security, garden maintenance, and a 24-hour emergency alarm service.

DIFFERENT TYPES OF HOUSING WE OFFER
All of the different types of housing listed above (with the exception of General Needs Housing) is registered with the Care Commission and includes private en-suite accommodation. In the majority of cases, personal care and all meals are also provided.

WHAT IS A COMMON HOUSING REGISTER?
A common housing register (CHR) is a single application form which makes applying for housing much easier because the applicant fills out only one form to apply to many different social housing landlords.
